This is our motto of our hotel "Jägerhof". Thus it is just logical that the menu and wine cellar of this traditional restaurant in the Oetz valley is well known all over the region.
You will find many fresh things from the familiar farmer on our menu which is also rich in variety. Many typically Tyrolean and Austrian dishes as well as international ones enrich the menu. All these delicious dishes will be served in the comfortable hall with its traditional furniture.

... as well as modern comfort can be found. Modern life is combined with the vivid past. We offer a familiar atmosphere and an outstanding hospitality. Our regular guests love the social life and above all they love our great traditional cuisine. We offer the classical roast beef with onions, stag with traditional "spätzle", filet steak, zander from our own pond etc. ... Every single dish is prepared with the utmost care and we only use the best products from the region.
Of course we also offer a "Jägerpfandl" with fresh mushrooms and the original "Ötztaler" cheese "spätzle", the fluffy "Kaiserschmarrn" (pancake) etc. We could continue this endless list but a guest brought it to the point, "I have never before eaten so well, laughed so heartly - and Lise has …" (you can continue reading when you are in our hotel).

... this great cuisine with the best of wines. Klaus Jäger loves wines himself and he takes care of the wine cellar. You will find delicious and rare bottles here. We offer great Austrian white wines (Skoff, Loimer, Pfaffl etc), rich red wines from Italy, France, California, Australia, etc. and also Chateau Haut Marbuzet and Penfolds.
You will find the greatest offer on our bar menu. Aperitifs, digestives and cocktails are also on our menu. Furthermore you can enjoy a nearly 50 year old Armagnac and also a mature Calvados. Another highlight is the great variety of different whiskeys. Above all our malts from Balmenie Portwood, to Springbank and Middleton Very Rare astonish our guests.

The dining hall was redesigned in 2001.
Only wood from our local forests has been used. Natural materials, warm colours. The broad window front opens up for a great view. You can see our garden, forests, meadows and our majestic mountains.
We serve delicious and interesting food with a lot of fresh ingredients from our own farm. Of course, we only offer the best Tyrolean specialities.

... a piece of living Tyrolean hospitality. All appears traditional and original. This room has been treated with special care. Old stories will be told. Legends and stories from hunting.
This is a special room to have a drink with friends and also to get to know new ones.
