Tyrol’s first and only spa resort, the Aqua Dome, has opened for business in Längenfeld. Covering an area of some 50,000 m², the resort features a sauna village, beauty and body treatment zone, indoor spa, Alpine Noah’s Ark and extraordinary outdoor spa facilities.
The combination of a breathtaking mountain world and spa centre is quite simply unique. The same, too, can be said of the water which runs down through the mountain rock from the tops of glaciers 3,000 m above sea level only to re-emerge gushing out as thermal spring water from the depths of 1,800 m underground.
Reminiscent of a crystal, the interior of the impressive indoor spa features two pools containing approx. 34° C and 36° C hot water. Visitors pass along a bridge before entering the huge ice crystal – the entrance portal to the outdoor zone with its three spa shells on stilts.
The shells, which have a diameter of 16 m, feature a brine pool, a pool with liquid sound and a whirlpool. The experience of sitting enthroned within these shells is magical and completely unforgettable.
